What JustRelocation Is
JustRelocation is a marketplace that connects NHS healthcare workers with local services near their hospital. When you select your workplace, we show you vetted letting agents, banks, immigration lawyers, GP practices, money transfer services, driving schools, and other providers who understand the specific circumstances of NHS workers relocating to London and across the UK.
The platform is free for NHS workers. Service providers pay a subscription to be listed. That business model keeps us aligned with your interests — we have no reason to show you services that are not genuinely useful.
Why It Exists
NHS workers arriving in London face a set of obstacles that are well documented but rarely addressed. Stable employment and a guaranteed NHS income do not automatically open doors.
Housing discrimination
Landlords and letting agents routinely reject international recruits and domestic movers who cannot provide UK rental history, a UK-based guarantor, or proof of a UK address — which is impossible to have before you have somewhere to live.
Banking delays
Opening a UK bank account requires proof of address. Getting proof of address requires a bank account. This circular dependency can take weeks to resolve and leaves workers unable to receive their first NHS salary on time.
Administrative overload
Registering with a GP, sorting council tax, finding childcare, updating the DVLA, applying for a National Insurance number — all while starting an intensive new clinical role in an unfamiliar hospital.
Social isolation
Moving to a new city without an existing network means rebuilding professional and personal connections from scratch. Workers arriving from overseas face this alongside culture shock and time zone differences from family.
JustRelocation does not solve all of these problems directly. What it does is put the right services within reach quickly — services that are already familiar with NHS workers' situations and have agreed to treat them fairly.
