Your role
Your situation
Do you have a UK guarantor?

How it works

  1. 1
Tell us your hospital and when you need to move.

    Two minutes.

  2. 2
    We send the Rental Passport.

The eight documents that pass referencing, and a guarantor option if you have no UK guarantor.

  3. 3
Our partner agent books viewings 10 to 15 minutes from your hospital.

Referencing runs on the pack, not on a UK landlord reference you cannot have yet.

What you will need

The eight documents that pass referencing. Do not worry if you do not have everything yet. Send the form first.

  1. Passport and eVisa share code
  2. NHS contract or signed offer letter
  3. Three payslips, or an HR salary letter if you have fewer
  4. Three months of bank statements (home-country statements accepted by many agents)
  5. Previous landlord reference from any country, in English
  6. UK guarantor, or an insured guarantor service
  7. Employer reference contact
  8. A short cover note: who you are, where you work, when you can move

Straight answers

Can I rent with no UK credit history?

Yes. Agents weigh employer, income and guarantor. An NHS contract carries weight. An insured guarantor covers the rest.

Can a landlord still ask for six months upfront?

No. Since 1 May 2026 the legal maximum is one month in advance, plus a deposit of up to five weeks' rent.

I am a doctor on a six-month rotation. Can I rent?

Yes. New tenancies are periodic. You give two months' notice when you rotate.

My family is arriving. Do they need documents?

Every adult who will live in the flat needs a right-to-rent check: passport and eVisa share code.

How much rent can I afford?

Most agents use a 2.5 times rule: monthly rent times 2.5 should be under your gross monthly income, or a guarantor covers the gap. Ask us and we will do the sum with you.

What does JustRelocation charge me?
